    Estro Balance® – General Dietary and Lifestyle Guidelines

  •  Drink at least 6–8 glasses of purified water per day.
  •  Avoid/reduce the consumption of red meat – substitute with fish and vegetable proteins like beans, lentils, tofu, tempeh, nuts and seeds instead. Also try combining wholegrains, legumes, nuts and seeds together to obtain a complete protein.
  •  Reduce the consumption of dairy foods, consume soy/rice milk instead.
  •  Consume organic produce whenever possible, especially if meat, chicken, eggs and dairy are eaten.
  •  Increase the amount of soy products consumed such as soya beans, soy milk, tofu, tempeh, etc.
  •  Avoid/reduce sugar, and products containing sugar, this also includes alcohol. Avoid/reduce the consumption of fried foods, and excessive salt (use sea or vegetable salt in small amounts instead).
  •  Consume wholegrains and wholegrain products instead of refined, white bread, pasta etc.
  •  Consume more fresh fruits and vegetables daily, including sprouts.
  •  Increase the amount of soluble and insoluble fibre consumed daily, either through foods or in supplement form, i.e. Quick Fibre Plus.
  •  Practice moderate exercise, such as brisk walking, at least for 30 minutes three times a week.
  •  Ensure regular relaxation is achieved by methods known to reduce stress levels and methods that you enjoy doing, i.e. meditation/contemplation, visualisation or relaxation exercises, prayer, reading, gardening, etc.
