Detox Recipes

Chilli Sauce
Ingredients:
4-5 tbsp cold pressed extra virgin olive oil
3 red chillies, de-seeded and chopped (be careful with hands and eyes!)
4 shallots, chopped
2 cloves of finely crushed garlic
2 tbsp freshly chopped parsley
Salt-free seasoning to taste (optional)

Method:

  1. Heat the oil, add chillies, shallots and garlic. Cook for 2 minutes.
  2. Add parsley and seasoning. This sauce goes well over wholegrain pasta and rice, or with steamed cauliflower, broccoli or green beans.
