Foods and Drinks You Should AVOID
While on the Quick Cleanse™ Detox
Program
Sugar, table salt, animal meats; pork, beef, lamb, chicken, eggs, all dairy products (including butter, milk, yoghurt, cheese, etc.), refined (white) flour products, white rice, white pasta, white bread, processed foods (including canned foods, packaged foods, frozen foods, chips etc, chocolate, donuts, cakes, biscuits, jams, fruit spreads, margarine and peanut butter). Polyunsaturated oils & spreads, including cold pressed oils except for the ones listed in the “foods and drinks you can have” list (below). Avoid all Caffeine drinks - coffee, tea, cola, etc. All alcoholic beverages - wines, beer and spirits etc. All drinks that contain added sugar - soft drinks, flavored drinks, cordial drinks etc.
All sprouted seeds, grains and legumes - Mung, Alfalfa, mixed salad etc. All dried legumes (best to soak overnight before cooking). All raw and steamed vegetables (including potatoes) - best to eat later in the day. All fresh fruits (avoid citrus fruit except for lemons). All raw nuts & seeds; almonds, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds and sesame seeds are best. All whole grains, rolled oats, rye, barley, buckwheat, linseed meal, millet, etc. Wholemeal bread, wholemeal pasta, brown rice. Sun dried fruits - Apricots, figs, dates, peaches, sultanas etc. Tamari (reduced salt), tofu, tahini (unhulled is best) - use as spread in place of butter. Raw honey, rice bran syrup - use in place of sugar. Herbal seasoning or sea salt - use in place of table salt. Cold pressed virgin olive oil, lemon juice and apple cider vinegar (unfiltered) - Mix together, use as salad dressing. All fresh vegetable and fruit juices (avoid citrus fruits except for lemon). Herbal teas with pure water (do not add milk or sugar). Filtered water (drink 8-10 glasses of unchilled water daily). Goats, soy, rice or almond milk. Plain soy, goats or sheep cheese and yogurt with no salt or sugar.

Q. How long can I stay on the Quick Cleanse Program?
A. Anywhere from 15 to 30 days, depending on your goal. If you simply feel sluggish and would like to give your insides a good clean out, a 15-Day Quick Cleanse will usually be enough. A feeling of good health and well being (both body and mind) is the sign that you've accomplished your goal.
A. If you are on any medication, please consult your Health Care
professional before commencing the Quick Cleanse Program. Women on the pill are advised to commence the program on the days that fall on the 'sugar pill' just in case a rare occurrence of diarrhoea is experienced as a result of the internal cleansing taking place.
A. No! We don't recommend pregnant & breast-feeding women go on the program. If in doubt, always check with your Health Care professional.
A. Quick Cleanse is not suitable for children under 15 years of age.

Q. Do I have to take all 4 products?
A. Yes! To get maximum benefits from the program you need to take all four products. You can take the products separately for other specific health conditions. Please see product label for more details.

A. Yes & No! If you want to get maximum benefits from the program the answer is yes. The eating plan is designed to take a load off your digestive system, to maximise the effectiveness of the herbal supplements and improve elimination. Obviously if you decide not to follow the Eating Plan you will not get the best result.
A. No. However, make sure to eat a varied diet of natural foods. Those listed on the “What You Can Eat" list will ensure you get enough vitamins & minerals, and also to maintain adequate energy levels while on the program. If you don't like one or more of the foods listed, you do not have to eat them. However, it is really important that you don't eat or drink anything from the "Foods to Avoid list" in order to gain the maximum benefits from doing the Quick Cleanse Program.MORE FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS 2...
Q. This is my 2nd day (could be up to 6-8 days) on the program and I feel tried, have no energy?
A. Most people find that they feel quite well on the program. However, everyone is unique and our bodies do respond differently when
undergoing internal cleansing. The most common symptoms experienced while on the program, if any, are headache, lethargy & tiredness, muscle & joint pain, flu-like symptoms, slight stomach cramps & wind pain. These may be experienced during the first 8 days on the program, if at all, and are generally very mild. Be sure you drink plenty of water.
Symptoms normally subside within the first few days. Some people find it useful to reduce the dosage of the supplements by half in order to continue with the cleansing benefits but at a much slower pace. If symptoms persists please seek the advice of a health care professional.
A. Sometimes when we change our eating patterns and increase the amount of fibre we are consuming we notice that our bowel motions change slightly for a while. We recommend to stop taking “Intestinal Clear Plus” and Quick Fibre Plus for 2 days, recommencing on the 3rd day at half the normal dosage, then slowly increasing every day until you reach full dosage again. Make sure you drink at least 2 litres of unchilled filtered water daily.

Q. Will I lose weight on the Quick Cleanse Program?
A. Yes! However, the Quick Cleanse Program was not intended to be a weight loss program. We have found most people who are overweight will lose up to 3 kilos a week while on the program. People who are already at a healthy weight for their body size will not find much of a fluctuation, if any at all. If you are overweight and adopt a healthier diet low in fat, exercise daily and take herbal supplements that speed up waste removal, this will naturally help you shed excess weight.
A. You can stay on The Quick Cleanse Program for a period of up to 30 days at one time, and every 3 to 6 months depending on the individual.
Stomach, Liver & Intestinal Clear Plus can be taken daily over a long- term basis. However we recommend that you don’t use Bowel Clear for more than 30 days without having a break for about 2-4 weeks.
A. The directions on the label of each bottle are for those taking any one of the Quick Cleanse formulas (stomach, Liver, Bowel or Intestinal Clear Plus) as a stand alone product. Any one of the Quick Cleanse products can be used on their own for specific health problems. However, when on the 15 day Internal Cleansing & Detox Program please follow directions in the “Eating Plan” detailed earlier within the supplied booklet.
